Notice of Election
The annual election of the Marion County Agricultural Society board of directors will be held at the Marion County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm in the Coliseum. Only persons holding current Marion County Agricultural Society memberships are eligible to run for member of the Board of Directors of the Society by filing with the Secretary of the Society a petition signed by ten or more members of the Society. All petitions for candidacy must be in the hands of the Secretary of Society on or before June 24, 2026 at 5:00 pm. Only candidates who have met the filing requirements will be eligible for the election. Casting votes by proxy will not be permitted.
