MARION COUNTY FAIR

Tough Truck & Car Contest Rules

7:30 PM, Tuesday, June 30, 2009

▪  Any 2 or 4 W.D. truck qualifies as a tough truck.  The truck must have workable seatbelts and the driver, and if present, passenger is required to wear a helmet. 
In addition, the driver must also have their driver’s license on hand. 

§   All vehicles will be run twice around the track to determine top 12 placing.  Fastest time of 2 runs will be used.  

§   Running order to be determined day of show.  Running order will be reversed for 2^nd lap.   

§   There will be no deep mud pits – track will be built for fast lap times.   

§   Long jump winner pays $150.00.  You must go over jump at the end of the track.   

▪  Double entries are permitted, entry fee per each entry. 

▪  NO DRINKING of alcoholic beverages on the fairgrounds will be permitted. 

▪  Entry fee is $25.00 per entry.  Rider fee is $10.00.   NO REFUNDS rain or shine.

▪  Payout is as follows:  1^st - $300.00, 2^nd- $250.00, 3^rd- $200.00, 4^th- $150.00, 5^th- $140, 6^th- $130, 7^th- $120, 8^th- $110, 9^th- $100, 10^th- $90, 11^th- $70, 12^th- $70. 
First and second place winners will receive a trophy. 

▪  First come first serve.  The Fair Board reserves the right to close entries at any time.   

§   Drivers’ meeting will take place 15 minutes before the start of the show.

I agree to have my truck at the race area prior to the beginning of the race.  Entry fee is $25.00 for drivers and $10.00 for passengers. 
Only cash or money orders payable to the Marion County Fair will be accepted.

In consideration of accepting this entry, the registrant, intending to be legally bound for themselves and their heirs, executors and administrators,
waive and release any and all rights for any injuries and damages they have against the Marion County Agricultural society and the successors,
and assigns for any and all injuries and/ or damages suffered in connection with the tough truck contest,
and that they understand the inherent dangers involved in participating in the tough truck contest.
