One of the largest multipurpose
facilities in Central Ohio is getting a new look, a
new "feel" and a renewed commitment to the
people of this state.
The Veterans Memorial Coliseum, a
Marion, Ohio landmark since 1950, is being renovated
to better serve the thousands of people who use the
building on an annual basis. During renovations,
however, we are operating business as usual. All of
our annual events, as well as new events, will be
held as scheduled.
The Coliseum's "facelift" includes
remodeled restrooms, new doors and windows and an
outside stucco covering.
And the commitment is to bring the
best events and exhibitions to this area. In the
past, events held at the Coliseum include:
-
Marion County Fair
-
Arena Football
-
Dog Shows
-
Graduations
-
Trade Shows/Conventions
